In 2014 when I founded Railrestro, our goal was to cater high-level business network for our E-catering in trains. We required some times to evaluate responses and feedback from our customers to determine what was working and what was not. Once Railrestro (Subsidiary company of Yescom Group) started to flourish, it was very clear that our market is going to increase Pan-India and soon than later Railrestro became an authorized food delivery partner of IRCTC.
However, it also became apparent to me that to take care of our growing number of customers as we need to scale up rapidly. In addition to this, we also needed to have the ability to grow the service in an area that has smart, capable and technical people. And considering that I had been working with some tech and coupon providing companies and enterprises and had come to know the level of commitment, quality and guarantee required, establishing an e – catering business was a logical and compelling decision.
Four years back, we started from scratch with no customer case studies, no IP, no solutions of our own. We started our journey by building a proof of concepts and paid pilots in the (YESCOM Group of Companies).
As we celebrate our 4th anniversary, I can’t help but look back at all that we have achieved throughout the years. I want to acknowledge genuine and heartfelt gratitude to all our customers who have guided, supported, encouraged and shaped our journey.
